Kate Winslet is being lined up to play British designer and Punk alumnus Vivienne Westwood in a yet-to-be-announced biopic. It's thought Universal will produce.
The rumor began after an overheard conversation at Westwood's Gold Label fashion show in Paris a night or so back.
The designer's managing director, Carlo D'Amario, told guests: "Kate Winslet will play Vivienne from the 70s to the present day."
