There have been many false alarums but this time it was the real deal
Madonna's publicist Liz Rosenberg has confirmed a story that broke in a UK newspaper this morning - she is to split with hubby of eight years, Guy Ritchie.
Ritchie is currently shooting his Sherlock Holmes movie in London and Madonna is touring; she just attended the US premiere of her self-directed film Filth and Wisdom, which was mauled at the Berlin film festival.
